Teaching

For healthcare and social work students, the North Savo wellbeing services county is an attractive training place with plenty of opportunities.

As a rule, healthcare and social work students who study at universities of applied sciences sign up for training placements through the Jobiili application. Training placements for upper secondary school students will be fixed through collaboration between the educational establishments concerned, the units where practical training takes place, and the Educational Unit. Savo Vocational Collage students will start to use the Tiitus system for signing up for traineeships.

Once a traineeship position has been confirmed, a welcoming letter will automatically be sent to the student, before the traineeship starts, to the same email address through which they signed up in Jobiili or Tiitus. In the welcoming letter, the trainees can find, among others, contact information for the student supervisors to whom they shall deliver a description of their starting level / a CV / a blog address, and possible advance assignments.
