Support for victims of sexual offences 

We offer assistance to those 16 years of age and older who have experienced sexual violence. We help all genders: women, men, trans-individuals, intersex persons and those of other gender identifications. Those under 16 years of age are attended to in paediatric emergency services. Care and treatment are free-of-charge to you. 

You can apply for treatment and examinations yourself, with a relative or under the guidance of the authorities within one month of the occurrence of the sexual offence. 

The services provided by the centre are most extensively available on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., but we answer the centre's emergency phone 24 hours a day, including weekends. Before arriving at the Seri Acute Centre, we ask that you call us in advance. 

The filing of a police report is not a condition for receiving care, though it is strongly recommended. 

Our services include forensic sampling, a comprehensive assessment of the situation, psychological support for coping with the next few days and recovering from the traumatic experience, and a follow-up treatment plan. We also provide information on third-sector operators and support for initiating the legal process.

For whom and on what terms? 

The service is free-of-charge and intended for all who have experienced sexual violence who are 16 years of age and older, regardless of gender. A referral is not required for transactions and services.
