Oral and and Dental Public Health Care services

Oral and Dental Public Health Care services

You can get services provided by a dentist, oral hygienist and dental assistant from Oral and Dental Public Health Care. These include the examination and treatment of diseases affecting the mouth and teeth as well as health counselling and check-ups.

We invite children and adolescents at certain intervals for oral health check-ups.  Dental care for those under 18 years of age is free of charge.

We direct you if needed for further examinations and treatment to, for example, a specialised outpatient clinic for mouth and jaw diseases.

Do as follows

Make contact by calling the public health care telephone service in your municipality of residence.

Cancelling an appointment:

For unused and uncancelled appointments, we charge clients over 18 years of age the price stipulated by the payment regulation.

See more detailed instructions on booking and cancelling appointments in the telephone service information provided by your municipality of residence.

You will need a referral to obtain specialised medical treatment services for mouth and jaw diseases.

In the case of a sudden accident, you can come to Emergency without a referral. Always call ahead to 24h Emergency Services before you arrive.
