Commissioned studies

In commissioned studies (order and service studies), an external funding provider orders a study from the wellbeing county of North Savo. A research plan, financial plan and research agreement are drafted for the study. In addition, the necessary statements and permits are applied for. 

The researcher responsible is obligated to ensure that the laws, regulations, guidelines (ICH-GCP principles, Helsinki Declaration, Fimea regulations, etc.) and the guidelines of the wellbeing services county of North Savo are observed in the study. Responsibility for supervision also rests with the chief medical officer of the respective area and the head of the service unit. Research must not be started until all statements and permits are in order.
