Support Foundation

The Support Foundation is a support organization for public social, health and rescue services in the Wellbeing services county of North Savo. Monetary and bequest donations to the Wellbeing services county of North Savo are mainly channeled through the support foundation.

The foundation uses donated funds to support, among other things, scientific research, the development of employee expertise and new forms of treatment, equipment purchases, and the comfort of patients and customers in the Wellbeing services county of North Savo.

The donors can determine the type of activity they want to support themselves or they can make an open donation, which the foundation directs to the various functions of the Wellbeing services county of North Savo according to current needs.

The foundation’s operations are managed by a board of directors, appointed by the Wellbeing services county of North Savo for four years at a time. The foundation’s board of directors is responsible for managing the foundation’s operations, supervising fundraising and asset management, and deciding on the distribution of grants and subsidies.
