Intelligent Leadership Interventions for Promoting Workforce Wellbeing
Intelligent Leadership Interventions for Promoting Workforce Wellbeing
The well-being of social and health professionals is critical to the quality of services and the sustainability of their work. Currently, the personnel face increasing challenges in terms of workload and lack of resources. In addition, the constantly changing environment challenges good leadership and management. Studies show that up to 30-60% of social and health personnel suffer from work-related fatigue and burnout, which has a direct impact on both personnel well-being and patient care. Digitalisation and increasing administrative tasks have contributed to increased workload, and operational managers do not always have sufficient tools or training to support staff. This research project develops and evaluates intelligent leadership interventions to enhance the well-being and engagement of social and health personnel in welfare regions.
Objectives
The project seeks to create evidence-based and practical leadership solutions that support social and health personnel’s well-being through:
- Evaluating current leadership practices and their impact on personnel well-being.
- Identifying key challenges and co-developing innovative solutions together with personnel and leadership.
- Piloting and assessing interventions in two welfare regions.
- Developing a leadership toolkit and implementation guide to ensure the broad adoption of successful solutions.
